The home upper floor can lodge up to 8 people comfortably. Upstairs there are 2 private bed rooms with queen beds & a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a couch and love seat. Downstairs, there is a unofficial bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa. The living room is HUGE - 15'x33'. Can really spread out and make a large group of people comfortable. For dining there is a 60"round table with 6 chairs, there are two couches and a love seat for plenty of seating to view a 65" TV. The entire length of the living room has windows overlooking the lower patio, and allow sun in all day, and also a view of the large backyard. The backyard is mostly shaded, surrounded by trees. It features a private dock, 6' privacy fence, it offers areas of both sun and shade. There is 20'x24'patio deck & fire pit. The patio has a table and 4 chairs and has sun most of the day. There is a fire pit and fire wood most of the time. There are horse shoes to set up and play in the open space. The property back yard is located directly on Williamson Creek, which in only a short distance will empty into the Cedar River. The private dock which can be used to either fish or launch a kayak. There are 4 or more kayaks, paddles and life jackets available to use. Guests can fish off this dock as well. The dock water depth is 3-5'. If you decide to bring your boat, you can park it in either the front or back yard. There is the Curtis Lee Johnson public boat ramp one mile away. Come visit our cozy cottage located on Clapboard Creek in Jacksonville, FL! It’s the perfect weekend getaway! This unique cottage includes a Queen size bed, small kitchen, and half-bath. The cottage has WiFi, but there is no cable at this time. The shower is located directly outside of the cottage outdoors, but does have hot water and is enclosed for your privacy. Please keep in mind that this cottage is on the same property as our marina, so there will be some activity outside the cottage. If you love to fish, please feel free to catch your own bait: pinfish, crabs or mullet outside of the cottage. Don't have a boat, but want to get on the water? No problem! The public boat ramp next to Palms Fish Camp offers easy access to Clapboard Creek, the St. Johns River, and the Intracoastal Water Way.

This creates an unspoiled experience on the river without a lot of boats or people to interfere with your peaceful time. Boat and yard Situated on the canal that opens right onto the St. John's River, we have a nice gazebo, barbecue grill and small yard. We have a boat dock and lift available if you would like to use it right at the house. For large boats, there is a facility called Renegades on the River, less than a quarter of a mile that has a dock for large boats. There is also a ramp, gas and supplies. TV and entertainment We have a large screen TV to watch the big game, dvd player and sound bar. In the master, there is an additional large tv with netflix and hulu. Cable is avail only on the main tv in the living room. The guest room has a small smart TV. Kitchen, bed and bath Fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for service of 7. Bedrooms are supplied with linens and bathrooms are supplied with towels, soap and shampoo, conditioner and blow dryers. An iron and ironing board is also there in case it is needed. New appliances include microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee bar, fridge with ice dispenser and oven. New granite counters and open floor plan make our kitchen wonderful for cooking and entertaining. Garage and laundry There is a laundry in the garage. The garage is not available to park your car, as we keep our car there. But there is plenty of parking in the driveway and front. There is a utility sink, new washer and dryer in the garage for your use. It is our vacation home, so we try to be sure it has everything needed—just bring your boat, golf clubs, food, clothes and positive vibe!
